This heartwarming project proves Aaron might not be everyone’s favourite in the soap, but Miller sure knows how to capture hearts with a good story.

Danny Miller (Aaron Dingle) is a worldwide storytime star now! The actor’s audiobooks for kids inspired by his own son are a hit in over 100 countries. A while ago, Miller got a brilliant idea. He aimed to spend more time with his son while he filmed the soap. So he started a project called Albert’s Bookshelf, where he read stories for kids.
To add to the fact on how serious he was about the whole thing, he even teamed up with his friend Nigel Clucas for the project. The actor took a filming break and ensured he wouldn’t miss story time with his son Albert. That’s how the amazing Albert’s Bookshelf was born. Danny Miller said that the success of Albert’s Bookshelf had surprised him.
The app they use to track downloads showed that the audiobooks were being listened to in many countries, some of which he wasn’t even unfamiliar with. He shared, “You know, I think, last time I counted, it was 119 countries.” The soap star expressed his delight at how the project had grown from a simple idea to one with the potential to educate children worldwide.
Additionally, Ryan Thomas and Andy Whyment from Coronation Street also jumped in to read stories for Albert’s Bookshelf. This project is so much fun. Danny says he likes it way better than the Aaron he had to play. The actor has never been a fan of his mean streak.
