Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly, the beautiful Ruby Miligan of the soap, took a break from the Dales for Christmas and shared some tranquil moments of her time in Brighton with her partner Ian Kelsey. She came into the show last year with drama in her backstory. Keep reading for more info.
Beth Looks Back At Her Year As Ruby In Emmerdale
Beth joined the soap as Ruby and soon became a part of the family problems. Her father, Anthony Fox, returned to the village. He also brought Steph with him. Later, everybody learnt Anthony’s truth. He had abused Ruby when she was young. And it was because of those actions that Steph was born. Even a DNA test confirmed it after Caleb found the truth.
However, Anthony returned again to the village. And this time, Aaron Dingle beat him at the depot. But things got worse when Ruby made her decision and ended Anthony’s life. Elsewhere, John Sugden came into the picture after that. He was the one who helped Ruby move the body. And this was discovered when his own crimes were revealed.

However, now things are different. Ruby and Caleb are standing in a steady place as 2025 ends. They will walk into the new year without troubles in their life. Elsewhere, Ruby also started her wine business this year. However, even though she had shelves full of bottles, nobody bought them. And Charity Dingle gave her a tough time. Later, Dawn Taylor stepped in. He bought most of the stock for Home Farm. Elsewhere, Beth spoke about all of this as she wrapped her scenes for the year. She even thanked her supporters.
Beth Shares Her Christmas Moments Away From The Soap
Beth spent her Christmas away from the busy soap world. She returned to Brighton. She had grown up there and spent time with her family. Moreover, she even celebrated with her partner Ian Kelsey. He was earlier a part of the soap. Elsewhere, the couple participated in their yearly tradition. Later, they also went into the sea. Beth also laughed, saying the water felt rough this year. And so they avoided going too deep.

She had also shared the images. However, she revealed that she didn’t want to post them earlier. It was because many people lost their lives while swimming in Devon on Christmas Day. And so she thought it would be wrong to do so. For more Emmerdale spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
