Emmerdale star James Moore, who plays Ryan, is ready for a mission as he wants to raise money for the charity Myeloma U.K. He is doing this to honour his late father, who passed away due to cancer. Read ahead to check out what the actor is going to do!
James Moore Takes A Heartfelt Challenge!
James Moore, who plays the character of Ryan, started his village journey in 2018. He first appeared as Charity’s lost son. Thus, came out during her sexual abuse narrative. Her son was born out of rape by Mark Bails when she was just fourteen years old. Furthermore, Ryan loved Gail Loman, who was his best friend.
However, in the recent episodes, the soap fans learned that Gail and Ryan broke up as they realised that they were not happy in their relationship. Gail left the village and decided to start a new life in Devon, leaving Ryan behind.
Elsewhere, James Moore, who plays the character of Ryan, will take on a challenge to climb the equivalent height of Ben Nevis. He wants to raise money to help find a cure for the blood cancer which took away his dad’s life. His climbing challenge will take place at 270 Climbing in. Cheltenham on 25 October. He lost his father, Stephen, due to myeloma last June. Now he wants to help others, so he and his friends will cover 1345 metres in a climbing challenge on October 25 to raise funds. They will climb the 17 metre wall.

Meanwhile, the soap star said that his father was amazing as he handled all the responsibilities of being a lovely husband and a grandfather. He was a calm and strong man. Furthermore, Stephen was always more concerned about others. James added that on 16th August, he would have celebrated his 70th birthday.
Though he donated to the charity Myeloma UK, he thinks that he can do more. James said that he has cerebral palsy, so walking and running events aren’t suitable for him. But he is interested in bouldering.
James’s father was 65 when he was diagnosed with cancer. The actor revealed that his father used to complain a lot about back pain and fatigue. They had a hard time when they found out that his father had myeloma. At that time, he and his wife were planning their wedding. However, despite the treatment, Stephen couldn’t survive.
