Brenda’s Exit Storyline And Lesley’s Career Trajectory!
In Emmerdale, Lesley Dunlop played Brenda Walker from 2008 while her exit was first reported in November. Some of her biggest storylines included a disturbing relationship with Eric Pollard, overcoming a brain tumour diagnosis, and losing her daughter Gennie. Her exit storyline revolved around the cruise tickets she won from the magazine competition. She informed Nicola that she won’t accept the prize.
Nicola thought she would grab the tickets for herself but Brenda eventually decided to go on the trip despite Pollard’s health concerns. Her stepdaughter, Cathy Hope went with her. She would return to the village informing about Brenda’s long-term planning to move away from the village.
Lesley began her career as a child actor in the 1970s. She has appeared in two guest roles in Doctor Who and then in a long-running role from May to September. She has been on television for Decades. Before joining Emmerdale, she was a part of Where The Heart Is.
In this Yorkshire-based drama, she played the role of Anna Kirkwall – a district nurse. Soap fans expected her return after the three-month luxury cruise in Emmerdale, but things have taken a turn.
