Crossover Led To A Terrifying Crash!

Ned Porteous plays the character of Joe Tate in the show. He was a part of the special episode where the soaps, Emmerdale and Coronation Street, merged. Forty cast members were a part of the Corriedale episode, which aired last Monday night.

Four million fans watched the episode. In the episode, the soap fans saw the multi-vehicle pile-up. Both the residents of Weatherfield and Dales were caught up in the terrifying crash.

It was revealed that the crash was caused by John Sugden and Becky Swain. Both of them collided while driving on the country road. Thus, one of the Coronation Street characters witnessed an exit. Billy Mahew died after being trapped in a minibus which exploded. However, there were other surprising moments in the crossover.

John Sugden shot Cain Dingle. However, later the doctors informed him that he had a life-threatening disease. Meanwhile, Shona Platt went into labour as her husband David suffered a fit.

Furthermore, Joe was also at the hospital but wasn’t aware that a familiar face from his past was watching over him. Graham Foster has returned. Meanwhile, Joe has been blackmailing Robert as he captured Victoria killing John.

Elsewhere, Ned Porteous has been looking back at his visit to the cobbles. He posted a selfie on Instagram. He was standing on the famous Street with Rovers Return in the background. The soap star wrote in the caption that it was a decent pub seen better. The soap followers commented on his post. One of the viewers wrote that let this be another Corriedale episode that they are involved in.

Another wrote that they prefer the Woolpack. The third one was brilliant. Furthermore, a fan commented that they hoped Maggie Driscoll didn’t hear him saying that.
