Joe And Dawn Are Back!
Joe Tate arrived in the village on Christmas Eve last year. He had chronic kidney disease. To get a quick transplant, he targeted many people in the village, including his brother, Noah Dingle. However, when he didn’t prove to be a match, he made a plan with Dr. Crowley to steal his uncle, Caleb’s, kidney. Joe also had an affair with the married Dawn Fletcher. Furthermore, when he drugged Noah, it led to the death of three members due to the tragic limo crash.
Joe left the village after the successful kidney transplant. However, when he returned due to Dawn’s love, Caleb found out about the illegal kidney transplant. Though they fought, they reached a stalemate due to Anthony’s murder mystery. Meanwhile, at Lydia Dingle’s party, his secrets were out, and everyone wanted to get revenge on him. However, when Dawn learned about Clammie’s threat, she pushed Joe out of the window. When he gained consciousness, he asked for another chance from Dawn, and now they are back together.
Ned Porteous Confirms More Storylines!
Ned Porteous, who plays Joe Tate in the soap, attended the British Soaps this weekend. He hinted there is more to come for Joe. He praised the soap’s actors and said there is never a boring moment on the show, as every character has an interesting story. Ned Porteous shared that it is exciting for the actors too, as they never know what is coming for their character. He added that with so many people on the show, it is a mix of weird things happening at the same time.
Though everyone hates Joe in the village, his co-stars love him off-screen. He praised them, calling them creative and amazing.
