The crossover episode will air next year on January 5. The soap watchers will see multiple characters from both Weatherfield and Emmerdale. ITV released a trailer showing a multi-vehicle pile-up. The characters who are a part of it are Aaron Dingle, Robert Sugden, Carla Connor and David Platt. Furthermore, Asha Alahan, Cain Dingle, Debbie Webster and Jacob Gallhager were also a part of it.

Meanwhile, John Sugden will also be a part of it. The soap followers know that he was responsible for many crimes, including killing Nate Robinson, trapping Mack, tampering with Chas’s medicines, framing Owen and troubling Jacob.

The last time the soap fans saw him was in the autumn. He fled after blackmailing Caleb. After that, the soap fans haven’t seen him till now. Though John told Caleb that he would stay away from the village, his comeback suggested troubles for Robert Sugden. He might come back to get revenge on his husband, Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden.

Elsewhere, Ryan Hawley, who plays the character of Robert Sugden in the soap, reflected on the upcoming danger. The couple will be in trouble. He said that it starts fast. The events will change the lives of both shows forever. It is a big event and is very exciting.

Meanwhile, Oliver Farnworth, who plays John Sugden, also reflected on the return of his fellow villain, Kev. He said that with the arrival of Kev, it has gone from a love triangle to a love square. There is so much danger, and it is a messy situation. He added that he has been a part of both shows, so it is super exciting.

Duncan Foster directed it, so it will be good. Ryan was joking and surprised, wondering which character he would play, referring to Oliver’s character, Andy Carver.
