The Scenes Didn’t Require Much Acting’ Says Actress
A few months back, Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling) permanently exited Dales after his death in a car crash. Lesley Dunlop, who stars as Brenda on the beloved ITV soap, delivered an exceptional performance that earned her a nomination at the RadioTimes.com Soap Awards 2024.
Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com at the event, Dunlop shared that filming this intense scene was incredibly challenging. However, it required little acting. She described the location as a place that no parent would want to visit, highlighting that it was a place no one wanted to go.
The soap actress mentioned that they had known Gabby and Sebastian since they were very young, making the situation even more distressing. She recounted how they had to reassure the actress playing their mother, who was deeply upset after seeing the gravestone in the graveyard.
She stated, “It was very, very sad and not a lot of acting required because we were just very sad to lose him.” Additionally, at the award function, Danny Miller and Lawrence Robb shared their thoughts on how the Dingle family would react if they discovered Belle’s torment by her husband, Tom.
Miller suggested that the family would be so upset they’d definitely confront Tom, while Robb added that they would have a serious conversation with the ‘villain.’ Is there a showdown on the cards?
