Emmerdale Teases A Shock MURDER and Two Unexpected Exits

The ITV soap left fans on the edge of their seats by airing one of the biggest and most thrilling cliffhangers in the longest time on Emmerdale. Several jaws hit the floor when a provoked Belle Dingle lashed out at her abusive husband Tom King. After months of ongoing psychological and physical abuse, Belle decided that she had enough. However, things get out of hand and the consequences that spill out are about to be DEADLY.

After getting exposed in front of the entire village, Tom had been keeping a rather low profile. However, he had been in constant touch with his new lover – Amelia. The two lured Belle into coming and meeting Amelia alone. But to her shock, Tom was there. He trapped her inside by locking both the doors. However, Belle managed to space by scaring him with a shotgun she managed to grab.

Tom being the relentless and obsessive abuser that he is, still charged at Belle, and a high-intensity chase sequence began in the surrounding areas of the Dingle family property. Things took an even more shocking turn when a scared and provoked Belle pulled the trigger of the shotgun. Unfortunately, she realized that the safety mechanism of the gun was on, and it didn’t fire a shot.

This gave Tom the opportunity to take away the gun from Belle. However, she then grabbed an axe and plunged it straight into his back. The episode ended with Tom collapsing to the ground. While we will have to wait for the next episode to find out whether Tom dies or not, we still have a feeling that he will meet his end.

Earlier in 2024, news had surfaced that Tom’s portrayer- James Chase has quit the soap. Sadly enough, if James does leave due to Tom’s death, it may also take Belle’s character off the canvas with it.
