Emmerdale Spoilers confirm that Tom King has finally been brought to justice. As his trial came to a close in the December 19, 2024, episode, he was awarded a three-year sentence. Now, in a follow-up episode that’s already streaming on ITVX, the soap has addressed a long-forgotten detail – Vinny Dingle’s attack plot. Back in April, Vinny found himself in danger as Tom’s obsessive behavior towards Belle started to escalate.
During the time, Belle was experiencing some trouble with her phone, and Vinny Dingle offered to fix it for her. Unknown to her, Tom was secretly monitoring her movements with a tracking app. The abuser was out of town when Belle met Vinny in Emmerdale. Thus, Tom was livid at Belle’s unusual movements and, upon his return, took matters into his own hands.
Tom went straight to the Scrapyard and started to snoop. However, he panicked when he saw Vinny coming in his direction. Tom hit Vinny with a paperweight and escaped, leaving Vinny for dead. In the latest ITVX episode, Belle suddenly figured out that Tom was responsible for the incident with Vinny. She reflected on how the culprit had never been found and realized it must have been Tom.
Belle Apologizes To Vinny
A guilty Belle Dingle immediately apologized to Vinny for having a played a part in the ordeal. However, Vinny didn’t blame her for it. Even though he was shaken by the realization. He told Belle that the entire thing was on Tom, and not her. Belle has really gone through a lot while she was married to Tom. But now that the monster is out of her life, she has the opportunity to start fresh.
But what will come next for Belle Dingle? We know that on Christmas Day, she will get reunited with her beloved dog, Piper. Until now, she believed Piper to be dead. But that’s not the case.
