Sarah Has Cervical Cancer!
Sarah Sugden decided not to go into a relationship and have a baby through IVF. She confessed to Vanessa about it. Sarah told her that she had been going to the IVF clinics to check her eligibility. Last week, when Sarah Sugden went to collect her biopsy results, she was told that she had cervical cancer. However, the consultant informed the teenager that she could still have a baby. Then she met Jacob Gallagher at the hospital. Initially, she tried to hide her grief, but then told him the truth.
Jacob consoled her, but called her selfish for still waiting to have a baby. He even urged her to tell Charity. In the recent episode, Sarah Sugden celebrated her 20th birthday. She thought that Charity was criticising her, so she said she still wanted to have a baby and would do anything to have a baby.
Charity Offers To Help Sarah!
The poor teen discussed Nate’s murder mystery, sharing that Nate’s death proved that anyone could leave this world, but that doesn’t mean that one shouldn’t have kids. However, Charity told her that there is a difference between knowing that one would probably be around to watch the kids grow up and knowing that one might not be there. She said this because of her condition, Fanconi Anaemia. She added that she had to start the process, adding that she would love support but didn’t want it.
Then, Charity told Sarah that she wanted to pay for her treatment as she loved her so much. Though the grandmother knows that Sarah has a limited life expectancy, she is unaware that Sarah has cervical cancer.
