Emmerdale actor Paige Sandhu, who played the character of the murderer, Meena Julta, made an appearance in The Big Soap Quiz. The fellow soap members were happy to see her. She revealed who would be in danger if her character were out of prison. Keep scrolling to find out!
Meena Julta Murdered Many People!
Meena arrived in Dales in 2020. The character is the sister of Manpreet Sharma. She worked as a nurse. Initially, everyone thought that she was an innocent young woman. But the story soon took a turn. About a year later, the viewers found out the truth. They learned that Meena Julta murdered Liam Cavanagh’s daughter. She killed Leanna Cavanagh because the latter had found out some information about her secrets.
After realising that the secret was out, Meena threw herself over a bridge. Then the character killed Andrea Tate during a survival event. She also murdered Ben Trucker with an oar outside The Hide. Furthermore, the soap fans saw Manpreet’s sister troubling Liam and many other characters. She ended up trapping Manpreet Sharma for days and tried to gas her and Vinny in a barn.
However, the police arrested her in 2022 after Billy and Dawn confronted her. Later, she held the courtroom hostage and threatened her sister with a shard of glass. Thus, she was sentenced to life imprisonment with a 25-year tariff along with a whole life order. Though she can’t be free from the prison legally, she can still be an escaped prisoner.

Elsewhere, Paige Sandhu made an appearance on this year’s The Big Soap Quiz. Stephen Mulhern hosts it, and it includes the cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale. They compete in a quiz. Lucy, Shebz, Bradley and Mark were happy to see Paige. She spoke to Stephen about her time on the show. She said it was fulfilling, and working with the team was amazing.
When she was asked who Meena would murder first if she returned to the village, she said that she would target Manpreet. But the soap admirers wonder – Will Meena ever return? Furthermore, the soap fans learned during the soap quiz that the trailer will include eleven more characters.
