In the recent episodes, Mackenzie Boyd found out that John Sugden was responsible for Nate Robinson’s death. So he ran through the woods to save his life, but the medic confronted him and shot him with an arrow. Later, he threw a huge rock at him. The soap fans were initially dubious about whether he was dead, but they recently discovered that Mack is still alive.
John Sugden has been holding Mackenzie Boyd captive in an underground bunker in the woods. In yesterday’s episode, Charity’s husband was struggling with his injury even after two weeks after the attack. He tried calling for help. Elsewhere, Aaron Dingle and John Sugden went to the Woolpack and told Chas that they would be leaving the village and moving to John’s cottage. Meanwhile, Charity was anxious that something might have happened with Mack, as he hadn’t contacted her after his trip to London. This made John fearful. He returned to the bunker.

The medic told Mackenzie to record a voice message telling Charity and Moira that he won’t be returning home. However, Charity’s husband didn’t agree. So, John decided to generate a fake message. He used some of Mack’s previous voice notes, and with the help of AI, he was successful in creating a fake message that was similar to Mack’s voice. It was related to ending his marriage and never coming back to the village. Thus, Charity was shattered after receiving the voice note.
Then John decided to create another voice note for Moira Dingle. But a twist occurred as he learned something. Mack’s phone also had a voice note from Aaron. He discussed Robert’s one-night stand. John was furious to learn this. Though Mack told him about Robron’s affair the previous day, John didn’t agree. What will John do?
Away from the new revelation, the fans are concerned about Mack’s missed opportunity. He could have left Charity a voice message suggesting that he was in danger. They took to Reddit and wrote that Mack is on his deathbed, but they want him to survive. He could have recorded the voice note. Through his voice, the grandmother could have realised that he was in danger.
Another follower claimed that he could have conveyed a hidden message that John wouldn’t have come to know. They said that he could have said something strange, like he forgot the death anniversary of the baby.
