Frank Clayton Died In A Fire Accident!
Michael Praed played the role of Tracy’s father, Frank Clayton. He first appeared in Emmerdale in 2016. He was Vanessa’s father, making her and Tracy half-sisters. Frank was imprisoned due to fraud. After being released, he decided to move on. He had a relationship with Megan Macey. However, he was a part of one of Charity Dingle’s scams and even slept with her. Though initially Meghan was upset, later she forgave him and they got back together.
Things took a turn in 2019. A devastating fire occurred at the sweet factory, putting Tracy’s life at risk. Frank helped Tracy move out but he was caught in an explosion and died. The scary fire was accidentally set by Kerry and her daughter, Amy Wyatt. They started the fire after stealing money from the factory’s safe.
Though Kerry said that no one would get hurt, things took a turn – they noticed that their actions got recorded on CCTV. When they tried to destroy the footage, they carelessly left some wires open which led to a fire in the building.
Kerry Wyatt Apologises To Tracy!
In the latest episode, Tracy’s sister exposed her theft. Tracy had been stealing money from the till due to her financial struggles and no child support from Nate. However, Vanessa exposed her theft to Eric Pollard in the pub. Pollard didn’t believe at first but eventually learned the truth and fired Tracy.
However, in Friday’s episode, Eric kindly offered her the job back but also warned her that she needed to gain his trust. Tracy was grateful to him as earlier he was planning to call the police.
Later Kerry confessed to Tracy that she encouraged Pollard to call the police. She admitted that she was wrong as she had already done bad things in the past. She apologised for what happened to Frank because of her mistake. Tracy told her that she would stop blaming her as she could understand what can a person do out of desperation.
