EastEnders Actress Gemma Reveals She Hasn’t Asked To Return
EastEnders recently revealed that Nigel Bates is suffering from on-set young dementia. It seems that day by day his condition has been getting worse. But one thing has been constant in between all of this – him missing his stepdaughter, Clare. We all know that nothing happens on the soap for no reason. Everyone wondered if the actress was going to reprise her role as Clare. Earlier Yolande suggested to her pal to speak to her daughter and make amends.
Well, this aroused the question even more if Gemma is coming back. Actress Gemma Bissix has now opened up about if she is returning to the soap. The actress revealed that the soap has not asked her to come back. She said, “No, they didn’t ask me. I think they did fantastic with their 40th birthday celebrations.” Gemma further added that the soap brought many characters back from the 90s and actor Paul is doing well with his dementia stint. “And you know, realistically, had that sort of thing come to cards, that storyline would have probably been,” she added.
Gemma Is Currently Playing Clare Devine In Hollyoaks
Gemma further added that everyone knows Clare. She will go and ask for money from a dementia patient, and she would not want to do that either. Well, it was earlier revealed that she will be seen in Hollyoaks as Clare Devine, which made it clear that she isn’t coming back anytime soon.
