A former EastEnders icon has shared updates on their thrilling new venture since quitting the hit BBC Soap. Joel Beckett, who played the role of Jake Moon, is amongst the cast of star-studded Channel 5 drama, The Feud. He will appear alongside Jill Halfpenny and Rupert Penry-Jones. The famous star took to Instagram and wrote, “Loved working on this earlier in the year, really looking forward to ‘The Feud’ on Channel 5 coming out later this year!”
Long-time viewers know that Joel was a regular on the BBC programme for two years—from 2004 to 2006. The legendary star made an explosive comeback for the first time after 18 big years. During his short stint, we saw Jake reuniting with his former lover, Chrissie Watts, who had just been freed from prison. This special cameo revealed the long-running mystery of Jake’s fate.

Fans loved watching Jake and Chrissie back in Walford while they were cruising together in a sports car. The duo then took a drive through the Square, where Chrissie remarked, “Just had to see her one last time. Fancy a swift half?” But, Jake replied: “Nineteen years I’ve waited to get my hands on you again, a cheeky half in the Vic is not what I had in mind.
While speaking about returning to the soap, Beckett revealed, “It felt lovely to be back. “Although it was a new set, it felt really familiar, and it felt like I’d never been away.
