Deborah Looks Completely Different Now
Deborah’s exit from the BBC soap was dramatic. Steve Owen had killed her character in a scene. After leaving the show, she built a life away from acting. The actress now works as a personal stylist and interior designer.
She now runs her company called DST Designs. Back in 2014, the actress appeared on Grand Designs. Also, she showed everyone the transformation of her London home. When we see her recent Instagram posts, it shows how much she is enjoying her work today. She wrote, “Refresh. Reconfigure. Reimagine.”
The actress shared a lovely update. She created new looks for her client using what the client already owned. According to her, switching colours, ideas and accessories can change the look without buying anything new.
Deborah works with all kinds of clients today. This included the business owner and artists. Now, she lives in central London with her husband and daughters. And the best part? It’s the home she designed herself.
Memories Of EastEnders And Her Short But Intense Storyline
During her EastEnders days, she joined the Square as Steve Owen’s former girlfriend. He had already moved on with Mel. Deborah played Saskia Duncan on the BBC soap. On Valentine’s Day, Saskia was furious and confronted Steve at his club, E20. She even attempted to strangle him with his own tie.
Later, Steve was not able to breathe. That’s when he reached for a heavy marble ashtray. And soon, he struck Saskia over the head. That’s how Saskia died immediately. Elsewhere, DJ Matthew Rose was also a witness. He watched the killing happen. However, Steve thought that the police wouldn’t believe it was self-defence.
Hence, he asked Matthew to help him bury her body in Epping Forest. But next, Steve did something unexpected. When the body was found, he framed Matthew for the murder. For now, Deborah does look different off-screen.
