Emile John Played Ethan Anderson!
Emile John played the role of Ethan Anderson from 2021 to 2024, appearing in 255 episodes. In the soap, he was the son of Vicar Charles Anderson. Ethan worked as a lawyer and handled some controversial cases. In one case, he defended a man who brutally attacked Billy Fletcher in a racist incident.
However, when Ethan realised that he couldn’t defend the man because of his hateful opinions, he decided to stop representing him, but the man attacked Ethan too. But Ethan died of a brain aneurysm while he was waiting to be sentenced for a driving offence.
He had driven his friend, Nicky Miligan, to save his partner, who had previously attacked him. When he lost control of the car, Nicky was injured. Ethan fled as he was worried about his career.
When Ruby learned that Ethan had left her son, she hit him with her car to take revenge on the day of the village fete. When Ethan collapsed and died at home, she believed that she had killed him, but soon found out that he didn’t due to some other reason.
Emile John’s New Role Is Different!
In Emmerdale, Ethan was professional – he wore smart suits. However, in Casualty, his appearance was different. He made a guest appearance as Jay in the drama. He had bleached hair, wire chunky jewellery and a simple T-shirt. Ethan was admitted to the hospital because the symptoms looked like he had steroid abuse.
However, he revealed to Dr. Rash Masum that he had Crohn’s disease and had taken a high dose of the medicine. He did this so that the symptoms would disappear while dating a woman he wanted to impress.
However, the staff managed to get him better physically and helped him solve his relationship issues. He even disclosed his illness to the woman. She understood him and decided to go on another date with him. However, Emile isn’t the only one who appeared in Casualty.
