For the longest time fans had been on the fence over it. However, after watching the March 19, 2024, episode, we feel General Hospital is moving in the direction of turning Danny into a mini- Jason. In the much awaited and revered father-son reunion scene, Danny appeared rather taken aback by Jason.
In the episode, he stopped by the Quartermaine boathouse to check in on his recovering father. As Danny helped an unsteady Jason settle down, he had an array of questions for his father. Each of them pointing towards how much he wants to know and understand Jason.
The two connect on the similarities of their hobbies. Danny tells his dad that he is very much interested in taking Auto shop. Furthermore, he spills that he wants to play football but his mom won’t let him as she fears brain damage.
Danny then asks Jason about the time he suffered brain-damage on General Hospital. Jason tells him that it was caused by a car accident and not football. Through the scenes it was pretty clear that not only did Danny want to connect with his father, he even craves be like him.
