General Hospital viewers recently caught a glimpse of Adam Huss as Nikolas Cassadine during the August 27 episode. Laura visited him in prison to check if he could donate liver tissue to save his sister, Lulu. Unfortunately, Nikolas wasn’t a match, and this turn of events marked just another fleeting appearance for Huss. But to be honest, his loyal followers felt a bit let down. Despite the brief stint, they were happy to see him back, and Adam reciprocated the same love. Check it out below.
Adam Huss Shares His Gratitude
The General Hospital actor took to X/Twitter to express his appreciation. He wrote, “Thank you. I’m honored. Playing Nikolas and telling his story is something I’m deeply passionate about.” Moreover, he acknowledged the love, saying every post and message of love means a lot to him. He also appreciated all the encouragement coming his way from the GH fans.
The actor first embraced the role of Nikolas in September 2021, taking over for an episode when Marcus Coloma was unavailable. He came back for a week in November and officially took over the role in January 2023 after Coloma’s departure. Interestingly, his current sporadic appearances could never cease the love fans hold for him.
However, many viewers are frustrated that Nikolas is still languishing in prison for kidnapping Esme. They’re eager for his early release, especially since it would mean he could return to Port Charles full-time. And who wouldn’t like to witness a fight between Nikolas and Jonathan Jackson’s Lucky now that he’s back, too?
Besides us, even Adam is on board with the potential clash between the brothers. He has voiced his excitement about the possibility, calling it “epic.” For those who can’t get enough of Huss, there are other ways to catch him in action.
