General Hospital stars Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle Benson) and Josh Kelly (Cody Bell) have become an item! During a recent fan event organized by Coastal Entertainment in the Big Apple, the duo made their relationship official. The event “Men of General Hospital” was totally star-studded! It included appearances by James Patrick Stuart (Valentin), Donnell Turner (Curtis), Josh Kelly, and his girlfriend Chloe Lanier. But the news that Kelly had announced remained the highlight of the event!
General Hospital: Chloe Lanier and Josh Kelly’s Relationship Goes Public!
The stars of General Hospital took several pictures together, but all eyes were on Chloe and Josh! At the weekend’s first event, Lanier playfully dressed up as her new beau, Kelly. She sported a fake beard and baseball cap! She opted for more laid-back vibes for the second event and went casual in a Rolling Stones tee and headband. Moreover, Kelly took the fans by surprise by revealing that he and Chloe were indeed dating.
The General Hospital duo happily posed for pictures together. Let us tell you that both actors have had stellar acting careers. Kelly joined the ABC soap in 2022 as Mac’s son, Cody Bell. The actor was already part of the cast when Lanier appeared on the show on September 6th that year. Although they never acted alongside each other, their paths crossed behind the scenes. Before GH, Josh was popular among ABC fans as Cutter Wentworth on One Life to Live.
The actor played the character from 2010 until the show’s end in 2011, reprising it again during its short-lived online revival in 2013. As for Lanier, she made a memorable debut on General Hospital in 2015 as a young Patricia Spencer for the soap’s anniversary plotline. It was a brief stint, but Chloe’s performance struck chords with the producers. They brought her back as Nelle Benson in 2016, and she played the role until 2018.
Furthermore, Chloe returned to General Hospital for several episodes later that year and rejoined full-time in 2019. In 2020, her character was killed off, and the actress bounced back for a single episode in 2022. Back then, fans became hopeful that Nelle would return for good, but it hasn’t happened yet. By the way, Chloe was nominated for the Outstanding Younger Actress Daytime Emmy Award from 2017 to 2019. She finally took the trophy home in 2018.
Anyway, we might see Nelle in action if General Hospital decides to bring her back from her cliff fall. Who knows, she might even stir up drama between Cody and Sasha!
