Jack Assists Carly
According to the latest news, Charles Mesure will have more screen time as the WSB chief Jack Brennan in General Hospital. He will help Carly in one episode but is set to appear in two additional episodes this week. As Carly prepares to give Sonny an alibi for a murder, she might become furious over Sonny losing his gun.
Given her past trust in the WSB chief, she may turn to him again. She could seek Jack’s advice on finding the missing gun and may even confess that Sonny killed Agent Cates. Carly might also ask about the consequences of such a blunder. Additionally, their last meeting in Pentonville was filled with tension and chemistry, hinting at the possibility of a developing romance.
Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live comedian Sarah Sherman made a notable appearance on the show for two episodes as Ms. Robin Finch. She played the role of a dialect coach and etiquette teacher for Lois.
Hired by Tracy to change Lois’ accent, Sherman’s guest stint was well-received. While she has completed her scenes for now, there is a possibility she may return in the future. Ms. Finch successfully assisted Lois in moving away from her old Brooklyn accent to a new one.

The End Of John Cates
Lastly, Adam J. Harrington has completed his stint as FBI Agent John Cates, with his character meeting a dramatic end. The actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to bid farewell and express his gratitude. In one of his tweets, he wrote, “Well, General Hospital, it was a blast, literally!” He even thanked Frank Valentini, the writers, and producers for the opportunity.
Harrington took over the role originally played by Antonio Sabato Jr. in February, and his departure has left fans disappointed. The 51-year-old actor has had a long career, starting in the 1990s with TV soaps like Breaker High, Millennium, and The Outer Limits. As seen in the August 30 episode, Sonny killed John by shooting him twice in the chest, marking his official exit from the show.
