Carolyn Hennesy Finds Love in the Berkshires
The General Hospital star was in Berkshires, Massachusetts, when she encountered a situation that led to a cute life-changing moment. She posted about it on Instagram, saying, “Picked up a little something in the Berkshires.” Hennesy shared the news with her followers about the furball, who has already stirred up excitement in her life.
Moreover, the actress initially named it Ernest but quickly gave her a new name—Bela Lugosi. Why? It is because he gave her not one but two playful bites on their very first full day together! Typical dog behavior, but we love them anyway, right? Let us break it down for those scratching their heads over this new name.
Bela Lugosi was a legendary Hungarian actor popular for his spine-chilling roles. She’s most famously known as Count Dracula in the 1931 classic. Thankfully, Carolyn’s new buddy has since calmed down. The GH star revealed, “He has since mellowed… I hope,” but expressed some anxiety about traveling with her new furry pal.
“I suspect there will be some ground beef hiding a trazodone tablet in the process.” Despite the rough start, Carolyn is clearly head over heels for Bela. Additionally, she met the four-legged bundle of joy through the NY-based design house, Ivey Abitz. He is the brains behind the Animal Saints Rescue Society. Hennesy couldn’t thank them enough for bringing Bela into her life.
“He’s a gem of a boy. Thank you, Ivey Abitz, for introducing me to the newest family member.” Furthermore, a passionate animal advocate, Carolyn concluded her heartfelt post with a touching sentiment. She believes her other beloved pets played a part in leading her to Bela.“I firmly believe that Sophie Tucker, Spanky Gene, and most especially Arbuckle have sent him to me from afar.”
She added they were still watching and loving.” Her connection runs with her furry family. Welcome to the GH family, Bela! Meanwhile, don’t miss out on more General Hospital celeb updates at Soap Opera Daily. Tell us what you think about this adorable addition in the comments below.
