For past many months, General Hospital fans have been preparing themselves to be able to handle the grim fate that Gregory stands to face. A while ago the dapper gent was diagnosed with ALS, and his symptoms have been worsening ever since.
However, a recent official General Hospital social media post teased the possibility of a different fate. “Gregory’s visit with a new doctor provides an insightful opportunity,” the caption stated. Is this a hint at what GH fans had been hoping and praying for?

Could we be heading towards a misdiagnosis storyline for Gregory? It has been months since General Hospital first revealed that Finn and Chase’s dad is suffering from ALS. But ever since then, fans have been creating a storm on social media, asking the makers to write in a misdiagnosis twist for him.
Honestly, GH star -Gregory Harrison, is one of the finest actors of the ABC soap, and the fandom is not ready to lose him. Moreover, the character still has so much more to offer. His good boy -bad girl rapport with Tracy Quartermaine has so much untapped potential.

Fans have been screaming about the chemistry the two of them have. Perhaps, General Hospital makers have finally taken note of it? Maybe that has led them to write in a misdiagnosis angle for Gregory. Otherwise what is the point of adding another doctor and treatment layer to the already over populated canvas?
The jam packed soap is already struggling to give screen time to all important characters, so why would they create space for a track that has no relevance or future? What do you think?
