General Hospital: Is Valentin Really Gone for Good?
General Hospital spoilers confirm that Valentin’s story seemed far from over when he showed up last time. We saw him now and then during Charlotte’s disappearance arc, but she is back! What does that mean for her old dad? Well, Valentin chickened out and fled the scene, fearing WSB would land him six feet under.
Ultimately, he went into hiding, and now it seems like we won’t hear from him again. Subsequently, fans are scratching their heads over the show’s call to keep him off the canvas. Why would they write such a fascinating character off? James Patrick Stuart (Valentine) hinted at what’s keeping him away from Port Charles.
The GH actor talked about his life’s great mysteries on X/Twitter. And that is? “Why don’t I put my keys in the same pocket every time?” he joked. One fan took the chance, saying, “Is that why you haven’t been back to Port Charles? Couldn’t find your keys??” Stuart’s response? A simple “lol.“ He sure knows how to keep us guessing.
The Real Reason?
However, missing a set of car keys may be good for laughs, but it isn’t the real reason. We think James has been MIA because he shifted base and relocated to Oregon. He’s living his best life there, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Back in November, Stuart also gave his mom a tour of his “new home state.”
While we love this dreamy life for our favorite actor, his character is deeply missed on GH! So, is this really the end for Valentin? You can never say never with soap operas because bringing old characters back is their favorite job. But for now, let’s get used to not seeing James around much until Stuart suddenly finds his keys.
