The General Hospital star Johnny Wactor’s death certificate has been released. The actor has been cremated, and his ashes will make their way to his mother, Scarlett Wactor, in Summerville, South Carolina. General Hospital: Johnny Wactor’s Ashes Transferred to Family
According to PEOPLE, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that the General Hospital star died from a gunshot wound. He received it on the chest, and the organisation marked it as a homicide. Johnny Wactor’s brother Grant mourned, “He was taken way too early, and no one should be taken like this at all.” Moreover, Grant added that his late brother touched a lot of people. “He believed in his core values to the end, and he lived life to the fullest the way he wanted to.”
Wactor was popular among fans for his role as Brando Corbin on General Hospital. And let’s not forget about his stellar performances in other shows. These include Army Wives, NCIS, The OA, Westworld, The Passenger, Station 19, Barbee Rehab, Siberia, Agent X, Vantastic, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Girl. Additionally, Wactor’s agent, David Shaul, remembered him as “a spectacular human being” shortly after news of his death came to light.
He added, “Not just a talented actor committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him.” Furthermore, he always kept his chin up and kept striving to be the best he could be, maintaining a never-give-up attitude. Spending time with Johnny was a privilege David would wish on everyone. “After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”
General Hospital paid homage to Wactor on its official Instagram account on May 26. They revealed how the entire soap family is heartbroken to hear of Johnny Wactor’s untimely passing.
