GH Star Kin Shriner Speaks Out!
The General Hospital character last appeared in Port Charles on August 16, when Scott was given an important task. He needed to deliver Sonny’s sneaky pharmacist to Wyndemere- classic soap shenanigans! The plan was to keep the pharmacist hidden there until Jagger could and put Sonny in jail. However, things took a nosedive when Jason swooped in.
Consequently, Scott ran for his life, and just like that, poof! His vanishing act made fans wonder what the heck happened to their favorite attorney. In response, Kin announced on X/Twitter, “Scott Baldwin gone,” and reflected on the changes in the ABC soap. He looked back on his time dating back to 1977 and pointed out a striking contrast.
“The actors that were there and kept the show on the air for fourteen years I held in the highest esteem.” Additionally, he didn’t mince words and said long-running characters have no respect. Ouch! Interestingly, this biting message comes on the heels of Kelly Monaco’s departure, who played the iconic Sam for twenty-one years.
Kin’s sentiments also resonate deeply with fans who celebrate the history and legacy of GH. Meanwhile, the GH actor paid homage to his late on-screen parents, Peter Hansen and Susan Brown, with a nostalgic shout-out. He shared a touching photo of the dynamic duo and attributed his incredible run to their talent and dedication.
Now, let’s talk about Scott’s final moments on the show, where he asks Philip Cass (Sonny’s pharmacist) what snacks to bring. Scott sealed his farewell with, “I’ll get us some glazed donuts and coffee, so sit tight, I’ll be back!” Shriner joked, “So if that’s the end of @GeneralHospital, I did it my way like Sinatra.” Now, that’s a legacy!

I believe what Ken says is true, this show is all kinds of unsettling. They are going to run the show into the ground until no one watches. Seems like Frank is going senile and the writers are not good enough to carry the story line
Of Kin is off canvas and ‘Scotty’ is not returning, indeed it is disrespectful to a legacy actor and character. But look what they did to Kelly. As of recently, fan favorite actors are flying off the shelf; Marcus, Roger, Michael, Kelly, and Scotty, who unceremoniously and literally
disappeared off canvas.
It is time to take GH off the air. The story line is terrible and boring. Lulu never should have been brought back and recasted. It actually is painful to watch. It is deplorable the way these talented actors are being treated. Frank is the one that needs to go.
