General Hospital spoilers reveal that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has been caught up in all the Deception drama this week. However, Shriner has been dealing with some medical issues off-screen. The actor recently took to X/Twitter to share a clip of his real-life hospital visit. He joked that it looked like the hospital from the American soap and revealed he was there for another foot surgery. “Feels like @GeneralHospital in the old days, but it’s Valley Presbyterian—they’re good!” Read on to know all about it!
Kin Shriner Heals with Humor After Foot Surgery
The General Hospital star had foot surgery after a boating accident in June 2019. But this time, Kin needed a different procedure altogether. Luckily, everything went well, as per his follow-up message on July 2. Additionally, the actor shared another video from home, where he was binge-watching old movies. “Thank God for TCM! I had my foot surgery yesterday, so I watched Airport I, II, and III,” he said. Despite the surgery blues, Shriner’s humor remained spot-on!
He joked, “Day 1 got Netflix @tcm maybe watch Scotty on @GeneralHospital. Added, “Today got a knee scooter not a Vespa but I can look at it !!!!” And guess what? Kin will continue watching movies for a while. However, he assured his fans, “In a few weeks, I’ll be back in business.” Later, Shriner posted about Scott’s recent scenes with Ava Jerome (Maura West), as he’s agreed to represent her in the custody battle. Yep, the one brewing with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
It seems like Scotty is very much needed in Port Charles since Ava will require a good lawyer. Furthermore, some fans are even pitching a romantic angle for Kin’s character. They hope Scott and Ava become more than friends while others enjoy their current dynamic. Interestingly, many viewers refer to the duo as “Scava.” But Shriner joked they might need a new name that doesn’t “sound like a rash.” Anyway, seeing the journey actor in good spirits with his usual sense of humor is so nice.
