General Hospital has dropped a new preview video! But before getting into that, we’d like to share a schedule change. ABC will not air a fresh episode of GH on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The last-minute preemption has happened to accommodate a planned ABC news coverage. The soap will resume on January 8 as usual. We will finally find out what happens to Michael after he gets trapped in fire at Sonny’s penthouse. Also, watch out for Isaiah and Portia discussing the hospital murders! Will they figure out the truth?
Portia Exchanges Looks With Cyrus, Willow Panics Over Divorce Papers
We already know that Cyrus has turned into a hospital serial killer. The latest General Hospital preview video shows him creeping into a hospital room and once again injecting digitalis into a patient’s IV bag. But who is he targeting this time? Across the halls, Isaiah tells Portia that someone in the hospital is murdering patients. The scene cuts to Portia exchanging angry glares with Cyrus. Has she developed a suspicion for him?
Next, we see Michael informing Sonny that he has filed for a divorce with Willow. We see Willow seeing the divorce papers in total shock. She breaks into tears upon realizing that there is going to be a huge fight for the custody of their children. GH spoilers tease that at some point, Sonny and Nina will reach some sort of an understanding for the sake of their grandchildren. Meanwhile, some spoilers also tease a major showdown between Carly and Willow.
Michael Is Engulfed In Fire
The preview video takes a fiery turn when an explosion takes place in Sonny’s penthouse. Unfortunately, Michael becomes caught up in it and is engulfed by flames. A shocked Sonny rushes in to save Michael, but Jason pushes him out and asks him to call 911. He then tries to reach Michael, but the flames are too high to cross. Will Jason manage to pull Michael out of the fire before it’s too late? Will help arrive in time?
We know that Chad Duel is leaving GH, so this is perhaps the soap’s way of taking Michael off the canvas.
