When Jack Brennan disappeared from prison, we knew there were only two possibilities per General Hospital Spoilers. Either he was gone, never to be seen again. Or he was going to use his pull to make the FBI evidence against Carly go poof. And it seems the big bad boy came through for his new friend.
The latest GH episode saw Carly’s case getting dismissed at the courthouse because the evidence JJJ Cates was claiming to have, was gone from the FBI server. We know Jason and Sonny had nothing to do with it. Meanwhile, Spinelli’s attempts to delete it had already tanked earlier. This leaves only one person who had the means and motives to pull the act – Jack Brennan.
Interestingly, when Anna visits him at the WSB office in DC, he asks her to have patience and that in time she’ll see that he does not destroy lives. Thus, implying that he was about to do something rather heroic. The minute Anna gets updates on Carly’s release and the missing evidence, she’ll know Brennan did it.
General Hospital Spoilers tease that Carly too, won’t take long to put two and two together and figure out that smitten kitten Jack Brennan came through for her. After all, he was the only one she actually confided in, and he made it more than obvious that he had taken a liking to her. Thus, we can expect to see her paying him a visit to express her gratitude.

But will this visit turn take a turn from friendly to romantic? There is crazy chemistry between the two characters, and she is painfully single these days. Jason of course, is too loyal to Sonny to let himself get romantically involved with her (just yet). Hence, in the time being it would make total sense for Carly to raise the temperatures with silver fox Brennan!
In fact, it may even end up making Jason feel a little jealous, and perhaps make him realize that he wants and needs to be with Carly! Meanwhile, tell us in the comments if you’d take Jackly as a consolation prize in the absence of Jarly and Carson!
