General Hospital spoilers: Stella’s Failed European Romance
Vernée Watson (Stella Henry) addresses the old gossip about Stella falling for someone overseas, per General Hospital spoilers. “Oh, my goodness, we had talked about this guy in Europe,” she tells Soaps.com. Sadly, this idea wasn’t fleshed out because Vernée was busy working on Bob Hearts Abishola. However, not every idea worked for Watson.
“We were thinking about me and my sister’s husband,” she reveals. According to her, this one was too scandalous for Stella’s strong morals. Honestly, we respect that Stella isn’t one to break the girl code! So, what kind of man could steal Stella’s heart? Well, Vernée doesn’t have a type, but she does have one condition!
“I don’t know. He better be cute, whoever it is. I think Stella would enjoy that,” she laughed. And since this is Port Charles, it has to come with drama! Watson would love to have a man that seems problematic to Curtis. Or maybe the one with a secret wife and kids somewhere else.
What’s Watson Up to Beyond GH?
She declares, “If there wasn’t drama, there wouldn’t be a soap opera.” We couldn’t agree more! Beyond glitz and glamour, Watson is making a difference in the real world. She’s a key part of Heartfelt Education Through the Arts, a non-profit helping kids explore acting, singing, and dance.
One of their biggest productions, A Lesson in Blackness, will be held from February 27 to March 1 in Valley Village, California. The show celebrates African American culture, history, and contributions in the U.S. Watson gushes about it like a proud mama.
“We’re just very passionate about giving the kids the arts and helping them to overcome their insecurities,” she shares. Back to GH, Stella may go unnoticed by the younger generation, but “the grandmas” love her. Meanwhile, Watson has struck a chord with kids for Mrs. Harris on Jessie.
