Not too long ago, we lost one of the most interesting General Hospital character when Dr. Britt died on screen. At the time, Britt’s portrayer- actress Kelly Thiebaud wanted to try newer prospects. Thus, bid a heartbreaking goodbye to the ABC soap.
However, recently the actress has opened up about some of the changes that have happened in her life. But can one of those changes pave the path for her to return to General Hospital as Britt? Especially, now that Steve Burton is back as Jason, and their chemistry together was undeniable.
Kelly recently posted a intriguing post on social media pointing that a lot has changed in her life and that is why she had been missing from the social media scene. “Maybe soon I’ll find a way to talk about it all, but I want to thank you for your messages and love for Britt. It makes me both sad and happy to read them,” she declared.
Now, nowhere does she say that she could return to General Hospital as Britt. But that name dropping was enough for fans to start speculating and hoping that somehow this down come through. And honestly, a dead character coming back to life is perhaps now Soap 101.
In fact, Kelly herself had once stated that “We all know you can always come back on soaps.” However, she also asserted that she needed Britt to die so she (Kelly) could move on to newer characters. Thus, it is a bit less likely that she would want to return to the fold.
