Harper’s been holding a lot in lately in Home and Away, and now that Dana is spending more time with Sonny, it’s all starting to come out. What starts as concern for her sister slowly turns into possessiveness and her reaction ends up causing more trouble than she expected.
Harper Isn’t Happy About Dana and Sonny
Dana has been seeing Sonny in a relaxed, casual way. She’s enjoying it, but Harper isn’t on board. She doesn’t trust him and doesn’t hide how she feels. Dana brushes it off and keeps doing what she wants. She doesn’t let Harper’s mood stop her. Back at home, Irene and Marilyn have a quiet word with Harper.
Harper does try to be nice. She tells Sonny that Dana likes blueberry muffins, hoping it’ll help things. But she still ends up getting annoyed and questions him again. A Home and Away source says Harper’s constant comments don’t go down well, and Dana soon realises this isn’t really about Sonny at all, it’s about Harper still being heartbroken.
Dana Calls It Out in Home and Away
Theo notices that Dana and Sonny are getting close. He jokes around with Sonny and says they look good together. He also explains that Harper hasn’t been her usual self lately and gives Sonny a bit more context.
Sonny listens, then tells Dana to go sort things out with Harper. He knows it won’t get better until they clear the air. Dana heads off and has a proper talk with her sister. Harper finally admits that she’s still hurt about Tane and didn’t realise how much that pain was spilling into everything else.
Later on, Theo tells Sonny that he clearly likes Dana more than he thinks. He even says it sounds like she’s already his girlfriend. Sonny says they haven’t talked about that yet, just as Dana and Harper show up at the coffee cart.
Harper says sorry. She’s more aware now of why she reacted the way she did. Sonny then invites Dana to his place for a coffee and chat. He says he’s not sure what’s going on between them, but maybe being a couple wouldn’t be so bad.
Harper Tries to Find Closure With Tane
After all that, Irene suggests Harper go and speak to Tane. She thinks maybe things could feel different now, especially with Archie around. Harper agrees and goes to the gym to talk to him.
Before she can say much, Tane brings up the honeymoon they never took. He says maybe Harper could go with Dana instead. But Harper says she’d rather go with him. Tane’s open to it, as long as it’s just as friends. Harper says okay, but you can see on her face that she wanted more.
