Home and Away: Jason Becomes A Girl Dad!
On Friday, the Home and Away actor posted the cutest baby announcement on Instagram. Jason shared a photo of little Luka resting in her mama’s arms. He wrote, “I am so excited to introduce our beautiful daughter and Felix’s baby sister, Luka. 24.04.25. I am so proud of our family.”
Cassidy gave birth to Felix in October 2023, and now the kiddo is ready to play a big brother! Meanwhile, fans shared their love and wishes in the comment section, with one saying, “I’m so happy for you!” Another joked, “Only she can say my dad is a Power Ranger.” Did you get the reference already?
On the professional front, Smith played Robbie Hunter on H&A from 2003 to 2006 alongside Chris Hemsworth and Isabel Lucas. But that was just the beginning because Jason’s superhero era hadn’t even begun yet. In 2008, the actor suited up as the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury, and it became a rage!
Smith Teases About His H&A Return
Additionally, Smith appeared in The Mystery of Natalie Wood with Colin Friels. But what is he up to now? The 40-year-old Aussie star is working behind the scenes on major projects. Jason recently served as an associate producer on Channel 10’s The Masked Singer Australia.
He also helped produce the American music game show Name That Tune, which was filmed in Sydney in late 2020 during the COVID era. Furthermore, Jason wrote for Power Rangers Megaforce and contributed scripts to H&A between 2012 and 2013.
In 2019, he returned to host the Christmas in Summer Bay TV special and its companion podcast. When asked about a return, Smith teased: “If Robbie’s evil twin brother Bobby wants to come back, I’m in.” There’s no doubt that Jason is thriving in his professional life, and baby Luka has just added another sparkle to his world.
