Jo Langham has been struggling ever since her mum’s death in Home and Away came back into focus. Between the guilt, the trauma, and her sister turning against her, it’s been a nightmare. But a twist is coming that could finally give her the answers she’s been desperate for.
Lacey Points the Finger
Things blew up when Jo reconnected with her sister, Lacey Miller. Their dad David hoped this reunion would fix the family, but it went the other way. Instead of peace, Lacey accused Jo of killing their mum. The words crushed Jo. She was already haunted by memories of the car crash and suffering with PTSD.

Now her sister made her believe she could really be the one to blame. And if she wasn’t at fault? That meant someone else caused the accident and they’ve been walking free all this time.
Jo Makes a Bold Move in Home and Away
Jo couldn’t carry that weight any longer. She decided to try hypnotherapy to unlock the truth. She went to see her dad at the police station, first asking him to lunch, before admitting her real plan. David wasn’t keen. Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, who plays him, said David worried it would only drag Jo deeper into her trauma. He knew she already had panic attacks, and feared this could make things worse.

But Jo wouldn’t back down. So David let the session happen at the station, where he could keep an eye on her. With hypnotherapist Amelia guiding her, Jo went back to the crash in her mind. That’s when it hit her. She remembered another car speeding towards her, forcing her to swerve. And she saw it, the number plate of a grey Mercedes.
The Major Breakthrough
When Jo came out of the trance, she finally felt lighter. She was sure the crash wasn’t her fault. Someone else had been there all along.

But one reveal always leads to more drama. Who owned that Mercedes? Why did they vanish from the scene? And will Lacey believe her sister’s version of events, or stick with the blame? This might be a turning point for Jo, but the battle isn’t over. David is standing by her now, yet Lacey remains the big question mark.
Will this bring the sisters together or split them for good? That number plate could be the key to the whole mystery. And once the truth comes out, the Langham family could be changed forever. For now, Jo has a little bit of peace. But in Summer Bay, we all know peace never lasts. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Home and Away drama.
