Home and Away moves into tougher ground next week as Leah Patterson goes further in her fight with Lacey Miller. Leah refuses to step back from blaming Lacey for Theo Poulos’s death, and the tension around her behaviour keeps rising. Leah Faces Strong Pushback
Leah gets angry when she reads a newspaper article that highlights Lacey as a hero for her role in exposing Councillor Wendell. However, in the piece, Theo is barely mentioned. And this sets Leah off. She feels Theo’s death is being sidelined and assumes that Lacey must have a hand in it. However, in reality, Lacey had nothing to do with the article.
When Lacey sees the article herself, she is shocked. She had asked the journalist to stay away. And so the story catches her off guard. However, when she explains this to Leah, she refuses to hear any of her explanation. Furthermore, she again accuses her of causing Theo’s death. She tells her that this entire incident happened because Lacey took a dangerous risk.
Even when Lacey tries to reply, Leah doesn’t allow. Later, when the two clashed, Lacey’s father, David, stepped in. He then moves Leah away from the situation. And once David and Lacey are alone, he makes it clear that he won’t let this continue. Moreover, when he sees Lacey in tears, it changed everything for him. He tells her to protect herself now. Furthermore, he urges her to file an Apprehended Violence Order. After that, Leah would be legally required to maintain a distance and stop these confrontations.
However, Lacey refuses. She thinks that by doing this, pressure will increase on Leah. And it’s especially as she is still dealing with the grief of Theo. And so Lacey doesn’t want to bring more difficulties.
David Steps In With A Warning In Home and Away
David then decides to try a different approach. He then goes to Justin and tells him that Leah needs to control her behaviour. He says the fight and accusations have gone too far. Moreover, he warns that the next steps might cause more damage. And none of them would be able to undo them.
