Eden Fowler’s wedding day should’ve been nothing short of perfect but in Home and Away, has anything ever gone quite as planned? With ongoing preparations, what starts as a small mix-up soon snowballs into a situation that leaves Eden humiliated in front of everyone. Chaos In The Lead-Up To The Ceremony
As the wedding countdown begins, Eden’s nerves start to fray. Wedding celebrant John Palmer piles on the pressure, reminding her to finish her vows while checking in with Leah about the cake. Leah is completely blindsided; she had no idea she was supposed to be handling it.
John insists that Eden and Cash have chosen a traditional wedding and claims Eden is far too busy to take on more tasks. Feeling guilty that Cash has already completed his vows while she’s still struggling, Eden decides to sneak a peek at what he’s written.
But just as she starts searching, John walks in. Flustered, Eden quickly makes up an excuse, only for John to once again ask about Leah’s progress with the cake, leaving Eden puzzled, since the venue is supposed to take care of it. Meanwhile, Cash steps in to clear up the confusion with Leah. Though they manage to smooth things over, Leah is furious at John for putting her in an awkward spot.
A Sneaky Move Backfires in Home and Away
Eden still can’t stop thinking about Cash’s vows and tries asking him directly to share them. When he refuses, she secretly goes looking for them again, and this time, she finds them. But her relief quickly turns to dismay.
The vows are dreadful, awkward, and completely unlike Cash’s usual heartfelt nature. Distraught, Eden confides in John and Remi during the joint hen and buck party. She thinks the vows are the worst she’s ever read.
Both assure her that Cash’s words come from the heart and that sincerity matters more than polish. Still unconvinced, Eden later confronts a drunken Cash about what she found. That’s when the truth comes out, and it’s not what she expected. Cash reveals that John told him about her snooping. So he decided to prank her by writing fake, terrible vows on purpose. He admits he thought her reaction was hilarious. Eden, however, is far from amused. She feels humiliated, hurt, and betrayed, especially with the wedding just days away.
