Harper Faces A Life-Changing Truth In Home and Away
Harper is trying to repair the strained conversation that she had with Dana. And it was just before the Christmas break. She wanted to reach out to their parents. And that thought was motivated by her concern for baby Archie. She thought it would benefit Archie to know his grandparents. However, Harper was unaware of her parents’ stance, even after so many years.
Elsewhere, Tane Parata had advised her to be careful. He also reminded her of the patterns which are tied to her parents’ addictions. And Dana had a stronger reaction. She didn’t want to face the same problems. However, Harper still asked Cash to check the police database. She figured that having concrete information would enable her to make a decision.
Harper is trying to remain calm with Dana. However, things change when she gets a call from Cash. He admitted that he looked up their parents. And so he wants to speak to Harper in person. However, when he arrived, Harper could sense something. After that, Cash informs her that her dad passed away due to a drug overdose four years ago. Upon knowing this, she is absolutely broken. The thought of meeting her parents again had been shattered completely.
However, Cash informs her that her mum is still alive. He hands her mother’s details and her last known location. Harper then reveals the news to Dana. However, Dana shows no sympathy for either parent. She tells Harper that their past cannot be changed.
Dana Pushes Back As Harper Refuses To Give Up Hope
Later, Dana confronted Cash. She accused him of interfering in something he shouldn’t have. However, even Cash remains firm. He tells her that Harper was already searching for answers, and he only acted on what she asked him to. He then tells her not to focus on his involvement but to actually think about why Harper needs the closure.
