Harper Tries To Understand Her Past
Harper spends the following week trying to understand her family. That was something she hadn’t done in years. She further reaches out to Cash as she is being pulled to her parents, whom she lost long ago. Moreover, she has been thinking about this since before Christmas. And she wants Archie to know where he comes from. Elsewhere, she wants to believe that her parents might have changed now.
Then Cash looks them up and calls her. And he gives her the news that breaks her. Harper gets to know that their father died four years ago from a drug overdose. However, even after this shocking news, she hoped that her mother might have changed after whatever had happened. Then Cash gives her the address. Now it’s up to Harper if she has to make the choice.
Meanwhile, Dana speaks to Sonny about everything. She tells him about Harper and the truth she learnt. Then Sonny tells her that Harper has always helped people to come out of dark places. And that’s why Archie will be safe with her. And Dana knows he is right. Dana had fought against her own addiction. She overcame that because Harper never gave up on her. Later, Harper sees their father’s memorial website in private. And she tries to process it without informing anybody else.
Dana Sets Her Boundary In Home and Away
Later, Dana meets Harper. However, their conversation gets heavy. She tells Harper that she is unable to understand why Harper wants to reconnect with their mother. Then Dana says that they both have different needs. And it’s when it comes to the people who have raised them.
However, Harper is looking for answers. She wants to have clarity for herself and Archie. On the other hand, Dana wants to stay distant. She has now built her life away from all that chaos she was a part of. Moreover, she knows the reason why she doesn’t want to get back to her parents. And so there is no reason for her to turn back now.
