Home and Away: Is The End Near For Tane and Harper?

He loves me; he loves me, not? That seems to be a very pressing question in Harper’s mind on Home and Away. Well, all soaps thrive on drama and romantic upheavals, so it won’t be all that shocking if their relationship is heading toward a rocky road.

Tane and Harper are a relatively new couple. They are expecting a baby together, thanks to a one night stand they had a few months ago. However, it seems the novelty of a new relationship is fading fast.

It is very much possible that Tane and Harper could be heading towards the end of their relationship on Home and Away. But why? Well, there seems to be a lot of uncertainty surrounding them as a couple.

Perhaps deep down they aren’t sure of their feelings for each other. In fact, that is something that many of the soap’s fans have also picked up on. At this point, the fandom is divided over whether or not tane and Harper genuinely love each other or not.

Many fans feel that the couple does have genuine feelings for each other because they have really been supporting each other through their journey. They aren’t trying to be just co-parents to their baby; they are trying to be a real couple. But here’s the pebble in the shoe!

Harper is still haunted by the kind of relationship her parents shared with each other and with her. She still feels hurt by their lack of affection toward her. Meanwhile, Tane is completely oblivious that there is a problem.

In this week’s episode on Australia’s Chanel 7, Tane and Harper made some progress in their relationship by coming to the same page as far as their wedding preparations are concerned. Initially, they had planned a low-key ceremony.

However, now, Tane has agreed to a more extravagant one. But their issues are far from over. A recent promo features Harper expressing her concerns. She says that Tane has never declared his love for her, even though they’re engaged.

“He is the kindest, sweetest man, and I should be over the moon. But he hasn’t once said that he loves me.” She states that she keeps waiting for him to say it, but he just doesn’t. “I’m really worried that he’s just doing all of this for the baby,” she confesses.
