Leah And Justin Confront Theo’s Legacy
Justin Morgan is still coping with the grief over Theo’s death. He is trying to manage his commitments, including the record label. He then speaks to Leah about attending counselling. He wants to process his emotions. However, Leah doesn’t like the suggestion. She didn’t want to speak to a stranger about it.
Later, at home, Justin explains what he learned from the session. However, Leah is busy doing deep cleaning. And so she is distracted by her actions and barely pays attention to him. Later, she speaks to Alf Stewart. She says that she had initially dismissed counselling. However, when she heard Justin speaking about Theo’s positive influence on him, she felt a resonance.
Elsewhere, the music and Theo’s connection memory become central. It happens when Leah arrives at Theo’s apartment. She sees Sonny is listening to Theo’s Lyrik album. Later, she shared Justin’s words about the guitar. “In this house, music is never a waste of time.” Later, Leah and Justin bring Theo’s guitar to the ‘Back On Track’ studio. They wanted it to be a lasting tribute. Even Sonny contributes a plaque with the same phrase. And this head moved Leah.
Confrontation Between Leah And Lacey In Home and Away
Later in the week, Leah finds Lacey Miller alone when she is on her way to the Diner. Then Leah lashed out at Lacey. She blamed her for Theo’s death. However, she doesn’t realise that even Lacey is grieving. Then, Cash Newman felt the need to step in. His intention was not to allow the fight to get physical. Nevertheless, Leah’s harmful remarks directed at Lacey are still ringing in the ears.
In spite of the dispute, the narrative reveals characters attempting to respect Theo. People watching the show witness the different ways grief affects each person. And how, through the experiences, they can find a little comfort in the wake of disaster. However, will Lacey and Leah keep their difference aside to grieve Theo properly?
