Home and Away is coming up with a loaded week ahead. Remi and Sonny work really hard to get Back on Track Records going. They think Eddie Shepherd might be the perfect musician for them. Meanwhile, Eden sees one glimpse of the studio’s initial setting. But Sonny totally fouls it up when Leah intrigues him to talk about Theos’ death. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Remi And Sonny Chase Of Their First Artist
Remi has been putting in every effort to find someone strong enough to help him launch Back on Track Records. He and Sonny have been building the new Yabbie Creek studio from scratch. They even put Theo’s guitar on the wall as a tribute to him. And now, finally, after days of searching online, they have found a musician, Eddie Shepherd.
Elsewhere, Remi takes Eden to see the space properly. He shows her the courtyard, the var area and even the dartboard. And for a moment, Eden gets swept away. She imagines what the studio might look like once everything is set.
However, Sonny hears that Remi has already invited Eddie over, and he panics. There has been no recording equipment installed yet. So he warns Remi that this place looks like a hangout spot, not an actual label ready to launch an artist. Sonny tells him that they need a fully formed record company. Moreover, he asks to rent a charter boat to impress Eddie. He even convinces Eden to pretend that she is already a signed artist who’s happy with their work.
The Meeting Goes Off Track Fast In Home and Away
The next month, Leah calls Sonny again. She has been dependent on him since Theo’s death. However, Sonny is unable to ignore her. And so he diverts to Leah and Justin’s house. He leaves Remi alone to handle Eddie’s arrival. Elsewhere, Eddie arrives in a car that was arranged by the label.
Later, Remi and Eden try hard to buy time. Elsewhere, Sonny’s charm fills in the gaps, isnt there, and so Eddie notices that everything is unfinished. Elsewhere, Remi feels uneasy as Eddie is pointing out every flaw. And when Sonny finally arrives, there isn’t any chance left to take Eddie out on the boat. So he goes into his sales mode. He claims that things are going really well.
He later pretends that Kirby’s album, supposedly produced by Remi, is getting attention in the US. However, Remi knows the whole thing has gone too far. And he was unable to lie further, and so steps in. He tells Eddie the truth. He tells him the label is brand new and nothing is set up yet. Furthermore, he tells him that Eddie would actually be their first signing.
However, Eddie doesn’t like that he was misled. And so he walks out immediately. Then Sonny follows him and apologises to him. He even tells him that Remi had no part in the exaggerations.
