Roo Faces Eliza’s Terrifying Truth
Roo grows increasingly unsettled by Eliza’s erratic behaviour but holds back from reporting her. Things take a dark turn when Harper reveals that Eliza secretly recorded her giving birth, something she hadn’t been told until now. Eliza had claimed her phone was dead, which is why she couldn’t call for an ambulance, but Tane discovers she never made the call in the first place.
Shocked and disturbed, Roo searches Eliza’s music box and finds Alf’s missing heart pills and a photo of Harper in labour. When confronted, Eliza admits she may have wanted Alf to die and confesses she lied about the disturbing items in her possession.
Roo makes the difficult decision to report Eliza to the department. Harper assures her that Eliza needs professional psychiatric help. Roo informs Alf and Marilyn that Eliza can no longer stay with them. Eliza overhears and is devastated.
During their final farewell, Roo tries to offer kind words, but Eliza snaps, calling her the worst foster carer she’s ever had. Despite understanding it’s just lashing out, Roo is left heartbroken. Could this be the end of Roo’s fostering journey?
Theo and Lacey Feel the Heat as the River Boys Close In
Theo remains in hospital but is consumed by worry over Lacey, who’s gone into hiding after testifying against Gage. The River Boys are camping outside Cash’s house, ramping up the tension. Leah admits she warned Lacey to stay away, and Theo explodes in frustration.
Justin later spots Lacey at the station and passes the news to Theo, offering some temporary relief. But the threat escalates when Lacey receives a chilling voicemail from Gage’s gang.
Theo’s emotions spiral, leading to another blow-up with Leah and Justin. Bree steps in to calm the storm and orders them to let Theo rest.
Lacey eventually calls Theo to end their relationship, saying it’s the only way to keep them safe. Cash arranges for her transfer to a safe house, acting as a decoy himself. Meanwhile, Leah and Justin find themselves at odds, blaming each other for Theo’s troubles. Eventually, they agree to work together and give each other space for Theo’s sake.
Sparks Fly Between Sonny and Dana in Home and Away
As Bree clocks their growing chemistry, Sonny and Dana’s bond deepens. Sonny, still vulnerable, is discharged from hospital. Remi asks Cash to provide protection, but when that’s not possible, he hires a bodyguard and sets Sonny up in a hotel.
Dana drops by with a bottle of wine, and just as things get cosy, Remi arrives and warns Sonny of the River Boys’ continued threat. After Remi leaves, Sonny and Dana share their first kiss, marking the beginning of something more.
Mali and Abigail Reunite While Kirby Tries to Help
Still frustrated over the article about his board shop and Abigail not siding with him, Mali sulks until Mackenzie calls him out for his bruised ego. He eventually reaches out to Abigail, and the couple reconcile.
Later, Mali secretly struggles to be hired for his Surf Club position. Abigail nudges Kirby to help, and Kirby tries to scout potential recruits. Caught in the act, Kirby hears Mali admit he plans to scale back the business. Can she convince him not to give up?
Remi Caught Between Two Artists in Home and Away
Remi juggles projects with Avalon and Kirby, but it’s becoming overwhelming. Avalon ropes Remi in for her album after hearing him play guitar, but they keep it a secret from Kirby. Kirby soon notices Remi’s attention slipping and tells Avalon to back off. Remi promises to fix things.
That night, Avalon returns looking for fun. When Remi says he’s too tired, she offers him a sachet of drugs. Remi declines but doesn’t hand it back. Is he about to go down a dangerous path?
And, amid the chaos, Eden senses the toll on Cash and offers her support. After a drink together, Cash returns home and pulls out an engagement ring from his dresser.
