Things haven’t slowed down in Home and Away, even with celebrations in the air. While Eden and Cash return home newly engaged, they quickly find themselves caught up in fresh tension. They are not the only ones facing challenges. There’s trouble across the Bay, and next week’s events take a serious turn.
Trouble arises just as celebrations begin
Cash and Eden return home, still excited about their engagement. John quickly steps forward as a potential celebrant for their wedding. Meanwhile, Leah, Justin, Tane, and Harper congratulate them but also share their worries.
Dana, Lacey, Theo, and Sonny were expected at Gage’s court hearing, but they have not heard from them. Soon after, Tane then gets a troubling call, the group never made it to court. Worry sets in fast, and it’s clear something has gone wrong.
The River Boys strike with force in Home and Away
On the road, the group’s security van is attacked. In a bold move, the River Boys overpower the guards and take Sonny and Theo. Dana and Lacey are left stranded without any way to call for help.
But there’s a small hope, Lacey had hidden her phone in the van.
When Cash and Tane arrive to rescue the girls, she shares her clever trick, giving them a chance to track the van and find the missing boys.
Theo’s condition worsens
While Gage’s trial starts, Sonny and Theo are stuck in a remote location. Theo is in bad shape, his old injuries are flaring up, and new ones aren’t helping.
Sonny tries to ease his pain with a few painkillers, but water is running low, and their situation grows more desperate by the hour. Time is running out.
Cash and Tane spring into action
Back in town, tensions explode. Harper scolds Dana for risking everything over Sonny, while Leah lashes out at Lacey, blaming her for Theo’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, Sonny finds Lacey’s phone. He makes a frantic call to Cash, and moments later, Cash and Tane are on their way. Tane insists on joining, he knows this fight can’t be won alone.
Theo and Sonny are rescued in Home and Away
Just as the River Boys prepare to make their next brutal move, Cash and Tane arrive. They manage to overpower the gang and bring Sonny and Theo home.
While Theo and Lacey have a heartfelt reunion, Dana is left shaken by everything. Unable to cope with the trauma, she tells Sonny it’s over between them.
Eden gets a text she didn’t want
Eden is still glowing from the proposal when her phone buzzes with a message that wipes the smile off her face. It’s from her estranged father, Jimmy.
She immediately confronts Levi, who denies giving out her number. Abigail seems unlikely to be the source, which leaves just one suspect, Cash. Could her new fiancé have gone behind her back?
Mac reveals a heartbreaking truth
Levi finds a hidden stash of brochures, Mac has been quietly looking into pregnancy options despite her heart condition. He also learns she has been seeing another doctor.
When confronted, Mac finally opens up. She confesses to a past miscarriage that resulted in the loss of a fallopian tube, explaining why she felt she needed to take charge of her situation.
John lands the celebrant gig in Home and Away
Even with the mystery of Jimmy unresolved, John stays focused on one goal: officiating Eden and Cash’s wedding. He passionately pitches his case again.
Eden and Cash decide he’s the perfect fit, but they make him squirm a little first. After watching him twist, Cash finally puts him out of his misery and says yes.
Abigail wants out in Home and Away
The mystery of Jimmy’s text finally clears up, Abigail admits their mum, Deb, told him. Apparently, Deb and Jimmy are back on speaking terms after discussing Abigail’s past drug issues.
Now, Abi wants to return to Deb’s for a fresh start. But before she can leave, Mali catches her packing and demands to know why she’s leaving without saying goodbye.
Mali pleads with Abi to stay
Abi tells Mali she’s heading to Deb’s for a few months to reset. She apologizes for not discussing it with him first and admits it wasn’t fair.
Mali tries to convince her to stay, reminding her how good life in the Bay, and with him, has been. But is it enough to change her mind?
Mac and Levi consider fertility tests
Levi returns with some medical updates and suggests it might be time for fertility testing. Mac immediately fears the worst, does Levi no longer want children with her?
But Levi reassures her. He still dreams of having kids, and he wants them with Mac. They agree to take the tests together and see where the road leads.
Remi and Kirby clash over music
Kirby and Remi hit a rough patch when Remi accuses her of playing it too safe musically. Bree gets caught in the middle as tensions increase.
Kirby later confesses to Bree she’s been feeling guilty, Remi has been funding her studio time, and she’s now considering finding a new producer. But Remi insists he wouldn’t spend a cent if he didn’t believe in her.
Leah tries to mend fences with Theo
Leah is heartbroken when she learns Theo has asked Bree if he can move in permanently. Justin supports Theo’s decision and calls out Leah for unfairly blaming Lacey.
Realizing he has a point, Leah extends a peace offering. She invites Theo to dinner, but he agrees only on one condition, Lacey comes too.
Dana shuts Sonny out in Home and Away
Now back home, Sonny moves into Bree’s and joins Remi and Kirby in celebrating her producer decision. Remi encourages Sonny to fix things with Dana.
But Dana refuses to engage. She continues to avoid Sonny entirely. Could this really be the end for them before they’ve even had a fair chance?
