Meanwhile, Harper dreams of a fairy-tale wedding but gets no support from her partner, Tane. Next, Cash’s engagement proposal to Eden flops, while Dana plans to bring Xander back from Melbourne. Home and Away spoilers: Roo Invites Trouble, Dana Confronts Tane
Home and Away spoilers kick off the week with Roo Stewart adopting a child, Eliza Sherwood. But she has no clue that the girl’s more than just an innocent face wanting to turn a new leaf. It turns out that an unexpected fire broke out at Eliza’s previous house. Did she have any role in it? Probably yes.
For now, everyone in the Stewart household is happy to bring a sweet girl home. However, she shows her true colors when she slips upstairs and opens her music box- there’s a lighter hidden inside! What is Eliza up to? In the meantime, some serious wedding doubts are creeping into Harper Matheson’s mind.
She dreams of having a swanky, romantic wedding, but Tane is not into it. He wants to keep things simple before the baby arrives, making Harper feel suffocated. The disappointment worsens when she compares her relationship to one Tane had with his ex-wife, Felicity. Her sister, Dana, is also pissed at Tane for dictating around.
Later, she drinks with Remi Carter and confronts Tane to give Harper the wedding she wants. Will he agree, or will Harper be forced to settle for the bare minimum? As for Tane, he can’t wrap his head around the fact that Cash Newman was able to pull Eden Fowler.
Eden Rejects Cash’s Proposal, Levi’s Ready to Divorce Imogen
Then comes an even bigger shocker: Cash wants to get engaged to her, but she rejects his proposal. Given how it went down last time, rushing into things with him is the last thing Eden wants. Cash eventually understands her points and promises that just being together is enough for him. Does he mean it?
Across Summer Bay, Dana wakes up with a hangover and remembers what she did with Tane. Subsequently, Harper is angry at her sister for interfering in her relationship. Still, Dana insists that Harper needs to stop lying to herself, and that’s when the latter finally confesses. Surprisingly, Tane agrees to the wedding of Harper’s dreams!
However, Dana’s problems don’t end as Rose reveals that Xander has decided to stay in Melbourne. Ouch. But she plans to visit Melbourne and convince Xander to change his mind. Meanwhile, Eliza steals $50 from Marilyn’s handbag when Roo takes her shopping and gets a thank-you card for her.
But Roo asks how she paid for it and offends Eliza, for which she later apologizes. Something tells us this girl is playing a long game. Over with the Fowler siblings, Abigail still regrets letting Nerida into their lives, but Eden and Levi console her. Later, their talks steer toward Levi’s marriage, and then a realization hits him.
Sonny’s Back in the Bay, Harper Stops Lying to Herself
Levi can finally file for divorce from Imogen, but will his ex-wife agree? On the other side of Bay, Leah has been hiding a massive court fine from Justin. But she comes clean after learning that Justin and Theo have spent $4,000 on a car to fix up. Then, Theo, who’s devastated, decides to take out a personal loan to keep the car, and Justin agrees.
In addition, Kirby gets the chills when she hears someone in the house. She prepares for a bowling pin attack, only to find Remi’s old friend Sonny in the bathroom. The news of Remi hitting the jackpot has reached him, and now he can’t wait to spend it. At Salt, Sonny announces that Remi is covering the drinks.
However, John doesn’t buy Sonny’s innocent act and is convinced he’s using his friend. But Remi laughs it off when Sonny shamelessly admits to it. Is Sonny back in the Bay just to spend all of Remi’s money, or is he planning something messier? As the wedding day inches closer, Harper gets excited, but Tane couldn’t care less.
Even Leah’s offer to make their wedding cake stirs up painful memories of his past marriage to Felicity. Despite his doubts, he surprises Harper with an engagement ring, but something still feels off. Harper later calls Dana and makes a sad confession: Tane has never once told her that he loves her.
