Abigail Misunderstands Mali And Rose’s Bond!
Next week, Rose learns that her brother Xander is leaving Summer Bay because he got a full-time job after his internship in Melbourne. She feels upset and struggles to accept this. She even starts questioning whether she should stay in the Bay after Xander leaves.
Meanwhile, in the scenes airing next Wednesday and Thursday, Mali learns about Xander’s departure. He even cancels his dinner with his girlfriend, Abigail, so that he can go to Rose and check if she is fine or not. However, he doesn’t share the truth with Abigail about why he cancelled the dinner plan.
When he meets Rose, at first, she pretends to be fine but then she expresses her anger and worries about her future. Mali advises Rose to utilise her brother’s absence to think about her plans. He even hugs her after his words of support. A twist happens – Abigail sees them. Meanwhile Rose and Mali remain unaware that Mali’s girlfriend has seen them. She feels shocked to learn that her boyfriend cancelled plans with her to support his ex.
Levi Confronts Mali!
Then Abigail goes home and tells Levi about what she saw. However, she tells a lie that they were all over each other. Meanwhile, Mali who is unaware of the misunderstanding that has been created, tells Rose how much he likes Abigail. After Mali’s advice, Rose tells him that she wants to become a detective. Mali tells her that he supports her decision and also cherishes the friendship they have maintained so far.
However, after learning about Mali’s relationship with his ex, Levi decides to go and confront Mali. Abigail’s boyfriend accepts that he told the lie but also shares that it was easier to tell her a lie than explain the truth about his friendship with Rose.
