Home and Away spoilers: Rose Leaves the Bay Next Week
Home and Away spoilers confirm that Kirsty Marillier, the actress behind Rose, departed Australian screens in March. Finally, it’s time for the UK audience to say goodbye to Bay’s baddie next week on 13 May. Thankfully, Rose isn’t leaving the show on the pretext of taking on a serious mission or getting killed.
Instead, she’s entering a new chapter of her career as a detective in the city. Now, that’s what we call a promotion! Moreover, Rose’s final scenes kick off with a sweet farewell lunch hosted by her girl gang, including Kirby and Bree. They want to celebrate her last day as a police officer in Summer Bay, but that’s just the beginning.
Later, the character gets one last heart-to-heart with her ex, Mali Hudson, who swings by the station. He convinces Rose to go on a beach stroll that suddenly turns nostalgic. Mali admits he’s grown a lot since their breakup, while Rose wants him to confess whether he’s in love with Abigail.

However, he avoids answering it, saying he doesn’t give information to cops. Later that night, Rose hands over her work to Cash, who’s replacing her at Yabbie Creek station. As Rose gets ready to drive away, Irene, Bree, Kirby, and Remi surprise her with sweet treats one last time. It’s cute, but we bet you’ll probably cry!
Meanwhile, rumors of Kirsty leaving the soap have been swirling since September last year. Fans connected the dots when the actress landed two big theatre roles for 2024. She starred in Picnic at Hanging Rock from February to April and will take the stage again in Destiny. Guess what?
