Home and Away spoilers: Tane’s Dull Behavior Triggers Harper
Home and Away spoilers kick off the drama when Harper Matheson returns early from her trip to the city. She has completed her work handover and is finally ready for maternity leave. And like any bride-to-be, she’s expecting her fiancé to open the door with a rose bouquet and a big smile. But what does happen in reality?
“Tane seems completely emotionless over Harper being back after days away,” A source revealed. While Harper is craving love and excitement, Tane greets her like he’s been forced. In fact, it gets so awkward that he ends up calling her sister Dana over just to fill the dead air.
Sadly, the awkwardness doesn’t pass as Tane manages to disappoint the woman carrying his child again. This time, he nearly forgets his own wedding rehearsal. In addition, he doesn’t even tell his best man, Cash Newman, about it. Thankfully, Dana informs Cash to show up at the practice, but the vibes remain off.
Harper Confides In Her Sister
The rehearsal feels hollow because Tane can’t even bring himself to give Harper a practice kiss. Later, Harper finds herself going through her fiancé’s old wedding mementos. She sees pictures of Tane and his late wife, Felicity, who passed away last year. In the snaps, he looks the happiest, which is poles apart from his current moody behavior.
Subsequently, Harper starts questioning things and asks her partner how he really feels. Tane offers a few calming words, but Harper is unconvinced and turns to her trusted sister for advice. A source reveals that she rings Dana for a heart-to-heart. “Harper knows that her sister has had doubts over this wedding for weeks,” they explained.
Now, things get tricky for the bride-to-be, who knows that Tane can provide the much-needed stability and security. However, signing up for a loveless marriage is too much for Harper because she knows she deserves better than this. Can love grow where there’s only silence? Probably not.
