Congratulations are in order for Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou who has just achieved a big milestone. She took onto her social media to share the happy news with all the fans. Turns out, the actress is celebrating playing Leah Patterson on Home and Away for 25 YEARS! Yes, would you believe it’s been 25 years of her wooing all of us? The actress joined the Australian soap back in 2000. And now, she is all ready to acknowledge her hard work and celebrate
Taking onto Instagram, the actress posted pictures of Leah’s wedding with all her partners including Vinnie Patterson, Dan Baker, Zac MacGuire and Justin Morgan. Sharing these pictures, the actress captioned- “This month will mark my 25th year on #HomeandAway. She made a reel of all of this and said- “I know, I can’t believe it either and to celebrate this, she is taking us on a stroll down the memory lane where she took us through all the weddings she has had.
As soon as she posted these pictures and the reel, fans poured in the love. Many fans chimed in to congratulate her on 25 years.They called it a a huge milestone and expressed how much fun it has been to watch her in the role. Another fan says wowed on the fact that it has been 25 years and some others simply congratulated. Given how heartwarming the whole comment section was, we are sage to assume that everyone loves Ada and can’t really get enough of her.
Moreover, being on the soap for as long as Ada has, it is quite natural for her to also make some very close connections and relationships with her co-stars. As Home and Away fans must know, Lynne McGranger, who plays the role of Irene Roberts on the soap is leaving after 30 years of breathing life in the character. And, Ada is quite sad about this departure.
Recently, she very openly talked about how she does not like this. She posted about it on Instagram and called Lynne McGranger her “best mate” and “best work mate.” Ada talked about how she is still in denial about the whole thing and might not let her leave afterall.
Jokingly, she said that she might go to extremes and might even kidnap her. As per her plan, she would let Lynne live in their dressing room because the show won’t be the same and Ada’s days won’t be the same without McGranger.
