Tane thought he was just being helpful when he stopped for a woman with car trouble on his way back from Yabbie Creek in Home and Away. But what started as a simple good deed quickly took a sharp turn. By the next day, the encounter spiraled into something much bigger, dragging in the local cop, a long-standing family grudge, and plenty of tension in the Bay.
Tane’s Help Isn’t Taken Well
It all began when Tane spotted a broken-down car on the side of the road. A woman stood beside it, clearly stuck, and Tane, just doing what anyone decent would do, offered to help. But instead of appreciating the gesture, the woman took it the wrong way and told him to back off.
With no way to reach a mechanic, she ended up leaving the car and walking into town. Tane moved on, probably thinking the moment was behind him.
The next day, he passed the same spot and saw the car still there. He figured he’d try again and see if he could fix it. That’s when the situation escalated.
Just as he was working on the engine, the same woman showed up again. This time, she wasn’t alone. She arrived with Sergeant David Langham. And the mystery woman turned out to be his daughter, Jo.
Jo Langham Arrives in Home and Away
Jo didn’t exactly make a quiet entrance. Her tense run-in with Tane had already left a mark, and turning up the next day with her dad only added fuel to the fire. But it’s not just Tane who’s been thrown off by Jo’s arrival.
Elsewhere, Lacey’s been trying to settle in the Bay and focusing on job hunting, but things haven’t gone her way. Theo, wanting to support her, even considered selling his car to help her out. But Lacey made it clear she doesn’t want charity. Then came the real shock, Jo, the last person Lacey wanted to see, had arrived in Summer Bay.
Old Wounds Reopen Between Sisters
It didn’t take long for the mood to shift. Lacey was stunned to learn that Jo, her own sister, was back. The two clearly have bad blood, and Lacey looked anything but pleased to see her.
Now, with Jo in town and already clashing with people, Lacey’s stress levels are high. Between her job search and the return of a sister she can’t stand, things seem tough. With Tane unknowingly caught in the middle, this storyline is only just getting started.
